✨ AI-Enhanced Insights
Nanded Airport (NDC), also known as Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Airport, is a domestic airport serving Nanded in Maharashtra’s Marathwada region. Located roughly 10 km from the city center and Hazur Sahib, it primarily handles regional UDAN flights and pilgrimage traffic. The compact terminal and single runway make it a convenient but limited gateway to the city.
💡 Local Tip
During major Sikh festivals such as Gurpurab and Hola Mohalla, demand for flights, taxis, and accommodation in Nanded spikes sharply—book well ahead and arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before departure, as the small terminal gets crowded.
🚖 Getting There
Prepaid taxi and auto-rickshaw stands are the most reliable options outside the terminal; confirm the fare or use the prepaid counter before leaving. The drive to central Nanded or Hazur Sahib takes about 20–30 minutes. App-based cabs can be unreliable, so arrange your return trip in advance or ask your hotel for a pickup.
